AIV1 remix x Pilo “I started becoming good friends with Portrait XO as I had my time in Berlin during 2019 to 2021. When she showed me the album, I felt it would be great to have a slow broken beat version of the track 'AIV1'.I was inspired by some Björk remixes at the time where her vocals were chopped weirdly over a broken industrial beat. I approached it with a similar mindset and crafted a heavy broken style to this odd but entrancing vocal track Portrait XO created with the AI. It is haunting but ominous at the same time, giving the remix new ground for me to explore with my production style.” - Pilo Pilo is the main musical output of Los Angeles based producer, composer and sound designer, Cameron Ward.
